Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., former Secretary of the Navy and General William Mitchell, Assistant Chief of the Army Air Service appeared before the House Military Affairs committee, today, Feb. 17th. Roosevelt told the committee that aircraft was a supplementsupplementary arm of the National Defense and should be kept that way, while General Mitchell continued his fight for the unification of the air services.
